Story of ‘Kandahar’
The film’s story revolves around an undercover CIA operative, Tom Harris (Gerard Butler), who takes the audience to an enemy base in Afghanistan. Ali Fazal plays the role of Kahil in the film. The film is inspired by true events in the life of a former military intelligence officer.

The release of Kandahar on Prime Video in India is a homecoming of sorts for me, shared Ali Fazal. Shooting Kandahar in a different landscape with Gerard Butler and the whole team was a really great experience for me as an actor.
