California: The winners of the 81st edition of the Golden Globes were announced at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, attended by prestigious stars of film and television. The ceremony was held on Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills where big and small screens The films nominated for the Golden Globes 2024 Awards included Barbie, which led the list with nine awards, followed by Oppenheimer with eight. Killers of the Flower Moon and Poor Things each won seven awards. Meanwhile, in the TV categories, Succession was the most nominated series, with a total of nine, followed by The Bear and Only Murders in the Building, which had five nominations.
Oppenheimer was the evening’s big film winner, with Succession and The Bear winning in the TV categories. The ceremony was hosted by comedian Joe Coy, who left Taylor Swift unimpressed with a joke aimed at the singer, and took a particularly cruel dig at Harry and Meghan.
