Producer Aditya Dhar and actress Yami Gautam’s film Article 370, released today, has also not been saved from allegations of glorifying BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but it cannot be denied that this film is about the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. The story of the historic decision to abolish Article 370 has been brought to the fore on the silver screen. This is a film based on a true incident, so the audience feels a special connection with the film from the very beginning. Although the first part of the film has been very slow and the film has not been able to escape from some other flaws, but the lively performance of the actors and the thriller style of telling this story based on real facts has made the story engaging.

Under the article, the state can make its own constitution, flag and autonomy. Due to which terrorists are saving themselves. After which the story is about the abrogation of Article 370. Advantages and disadvantages of the film

Aditya Dhar had brought forward the story of Uri as a director. As a producer, he has once again chosen the real incident. The events of the abrogation of Article 370 are shown in six chapters. The narrative of this film with a runtime of more than two and a half hours has remained a bit slow. Especially the first half of the film has been slow. The first half has dragged on forcefully and has not been able to bring out anything new that is not available on the internet or has not been shown in the films based on Kashmir till now. The second part succeeds in attracting attention. Rajeshwari and her team decide to find loopholes in Article 370, so that Kashmir’s special status can be revoked. That aspect is very interesting, but the question also comes to mind whether this is cinematic liberty or the reality which is being shown on screen in this manner.

Ajay Devgan’s voice in the role of narrator has directly made former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru responsible for the situation in Kashmir in the beginning.

After all she is associated with the Indian Intelligence Bureau. The dialogues of the film are well made, but some are hearsay. This also cannot be denied. The background music of the film is effective. The cinematography of the film is in keeping with the story. The makers of the film are also praised for telling this important story through female characters. According to debutant director Aditya, these are characters inspired from real life, so he kept them the same.

Great performance by Priyamani and Yami Gautam

Actress Yami Gautam plays the role of an NIA officer. He has lived his character with full enthusiasm, passion and anger. She also brings forward the pain of a common Kashmiri on the situation, politics and bureaucrats of Kashmir through her character. The second most important face of the film is Priyamani, she has lived her character with calmness and composure and she impresses a lot with her presence and performance. Despite a small role, Kiran Karmarkar leaves an impact. The way the speech scene in Parliament has been recreated. He is quite effective. Arun Govil’s acting in the role of Prime Minister is also quite solid. The rest of the actors including Vaibhav Tatvawadi, Raj Zutshi, Divya Seth have also done justice to their roles.
