Gujarat government will host the 69th Filmfare Awards

Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited (TCGL) and WWM signed the MoU in the presence of state Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Times Group Managing Director Vineet Jain.
Chief Minister said – this will give a boost to tourism in the state
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that Gujarat hosting the Filmfare Awards ceremony will give a boost to the tourism sector in the state. Along with this, cinema will also get a boost in the state. The Chief Minister said, “The state government aims to promote Gujarat as a film destination and this event will provide the right environment for this endeavour.”
‘Gujarat will become favorite destination for production houses’
Keeping his point, Vineet Jain said that the power of entertainment industry can increase tourism in the state, generate revenue and create employment opportunities. He added, “By hosting the 69th Filmfare Awards in Gujarat, we aim to not only promote tourism in the region but also promote the local film eco system. Gujarat has already built a reputation as a manufacturing powerhouse, this partnership will enhance its position as a source of soft power and also enhance the state’s stature as a favored destination for production houses across the globe.’
Vinij Jain said that this partnership highlights the potential of public-private collaboration. “Together, we can harness the powerful platform of the entertainment industry to drive positive change and spur economic growth,” he added.
Tiger Shroff said – I am already excited for the award night
Actor Tiger Shroff was also present during the signing of the MoU. He said, ‘I feel happy and proud to be here. I have an old relation with Filmfare and Gujarat. This next Filmfare Award is going to be our best show. I am already excited to come to Gujarat again next January.
