‘Maara Pappa Super Hero’ is about the struggle of a 9-year-old girl who wants to establish that her father is a superhero. The film revolves around Kanku, who comes from a poor family whose parents are street vendors. When her parents went away to work, Kanku lived with her uncle who worked as a caretaker at a villa. Kankun is friends with Kiara, the 12-year-old daughter of the villa owner. Kiara is a fan of cartoons and loves watching superhero cartoons on TV channels. One such day, when Kanku comes to play with Kiara; Kiara tells him that she loves superheroes and her father is also a superhero. This is what remains in Kanku’s mind.
Directed by Dr Darshan Ashwin Trivedi and written by Ram Mori, the film stars Abhinay Banker, Shraddha Dangar, Revant Sarabhai and Bhushan Bhatt in lead roles. It also stars Bhavya Sirohi, Bharat Thakkar, Priyanka Raja and Janushi Ojha in supporting roles. Produced by Tejasvi Vidyut Buch, Milapsingh Jadeja and UT Rao under Saffron Entertainment, the film is co-produced by Burjin Unwala, Nishith Mehta and Dr. Darshan is Ashwin Trivedi.
Recently the film had a grand launch at PVR with a special screening in the presence of the all star cast. The film has won awards at many international film festivals. The film released in theaters on 19th January and is running successfully and getting great response from the audience.
