Gujarat’s Hirasar Greenfield Airport is ready for ₹1405 crores

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the 2534-acre greenfield airport on July 27. 14 aircraft can be parked simultaneously at this airport with a 3.04 kilometer long and 45 meter wide runway. 50,800 square meters of apron bays have been built at the airport. The passenger terminal is spacious enough to handle 1280 passengers every hour even during peak hours.
Aircraft like Airbus A-380, Boeing 747, Boeing 777 will be able to take off and land from this airport. The airport has facilities like solar power system, green belt, rain water harvesting. There is a system of 12 checkin points at the airport to control the crowd. Four passenger boarding bridges, three conveyor belts and eight check-in counters are included. Another 12 check-in counters will be made in future.
