Today is the fourth day of war between Israel and Hamas. On Monday, Israel’s Defense Minister had ordered the occupation of the entire Gaza Strip. After this, Israel attacked Gaza throughout the night. In response, Hamas has threatened to kill about 150 hostages captured by Israel.
On the other hand, amid the war, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Hamas has made the biggest mistake by attacking us. We will exact a price that will be remembered by generations of Hamas and Israel’s other enemies for decades.
PM Netanyahu said- We did not want war. This was imposed on us in a very cruel manner. We may not have started the war, but we will end it. Israel is fighting not just for its own people but for every country standing against barbarism.
A total of 1,587 people have died so far in this war that started on October 7. 900 people have been killed in Israel, while 2,300 people are injured. At the same time, 687 Palestinians, including 140 children, have been killed in Gaza Strip. And 3,726 people have been injured.
Israel has attacked 1,707 targets in Gaza since the beginning of the war on Saturday. During this period, about 475 rocket centres, 23 strategic sites and 22 underground locations have been targeted. Israeli security forces confirmed late Monday that a deputy army commander has been killed during clashes on the Lebanese border.
