Hansal Mehta’s Faraj to release across 100 screens in India

Mumbai | Directed by filmmaker Hansal Mehta, ‘Faraj’, a real-life hostage drama, will release across select 100 screens across the country. Producer Anubhav Sinha says it is a special film and wants people across India to be a part of the premium show experience.
Sinha shared, “‘Faaraz’ is a story that needs to be experienced on the big screen. We want the film to reach its rightful audience and hence have decided to have a premium release on select screens.”

He further added, “The way people consume content has evolved a lot over the years, be it watching movies at home on OTT or going to theaters to watch a film. As a filmmaker and producer Adapting to audience behavior is important for us. We have decided to release Faraaz in select screens.”
Based on the real-life terrorist attack that ravaged a Dhaka cafe, ‘Faraj’ is an untold heroic tale about a young boy who stood firm in the face of the worst.
‘Faraj’ is directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Anubhav Sinha, Sakshi Bhatt, Sahil Sehgal and Mazahir Mandsaurwala. The film is jointly produced by T-Series and Banaras Media in association with Mahana Films.
The film stars Jehan Kapoor, Aditya Rawal, Juhi Babbar, Aamir Ali, Sachin Lalwani, Palak Lalwani and Resham Sahani. ‘Faraz’ is all set to release on February 3.(IANS)
