i have left a lot
He further said, ‘I have had the privilege of being born and brought up in a very affluent, wealthy family. I had to give up my original citizenship
In a previous conversation with Mashable, Adnan Sami had shared that it took him 18 years to get Indian citizenship. Singer said, “It took me 18 years, but what I’m trying to say here is, in those 18 years, I didn’t tell the world about it. I was rejected twice. Had to give up citizenship and became stateless for a while. For a year and a half I did not belong to any country. Passport is just a document but I was not owned by any country and in that case I could not travel There was nothing I could do.”
