Material
‘250 grams fenugreek
a bowl of green peas
Half a bowl of cream
two spoons of oil
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon fenugreek
a pinch of asafoetida
2 big onions finely chopped
2 big tomatoes finely chopped
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
‘3-4 green chilies
½ teaspoon coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
salt as per taste
Method
Wash fenugreek leaves and cook with peas in a glass of water for 5 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and add asafoetida, cumin and fenugreek seeds and prepare tempering. Then add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and fry it for two minutes. After this, add onion and when the onion starts to turn golden, add chopped tomatoes and all the spices and cook. You can also add a pinch of sugar for taste. Now add cream to it and mix well and also add fenugreek and peas. Mix well by adding salt and cover for 5 minutes. Take it out in a ball and garnish it with coriander leaves. Hot-hot fenugreek peas cream is ready. Serve it with paratha or fried rice.
