According to the students, they had also taken permission from the college administration for this. Sindh Council General Secretary Kashif Brohi told – During the event suddenly the people of IJT came there and started fighting. He got information about celebrating Holi through a Facebook post.
After the attack, the students had come to protest outside the Vice-Chancellor’s office. Here many guards also assaulted him. The guards locked around 5-6 students in the van so that they could not protest. Khet Kumar, a student who was injured in the clash, said – We were protesting against the behavior of IJT workers outside the Vice-Chancellor’s office. Then the college guards came there and started beating us. We even reached the police to complain but they have not registered our FIR till now.
