Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness will divorce after 27 years of marriage – Dainik Savera Times

Canberra: Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness are going for divorce after 27 years of marriage. This information was given by BBC on Saturday. According to celebrity magazine ‘People’, the Australian couple said that they feel blessed to have spent almost three decades together. The statement said that now our journey is changing and we have decided to part ways for our personal growth.

Jackman and Furness met in 1995 on the set of the TV show Corelli. Furness was an established actress while Jackman was a fresh out of drama school at the time. They married in April 1996 and later adopted two children who are now 23 and 18. The couple signed off by saying that we begin the next chapter of our lives with gratitude, love and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy and that of our family as we navigate this time in our lives.

Jackman is known for playing roles in the Have done. On their last wedding anniversary in April, he said, “I love you Deb.” Today is our 27th wedding anniversary. We have created a beautiful family together, I love you with all my heart.
They also posted on their 25th wedding anniversary in 2021 that their marriage is as natural as breathing.

The couple were photographed together at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in London in July, where there was a match between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. In April, Jackman told his fans via social media that he had successfully passed all clear tests for skin cancer.
The actor was first diagnosed with skin cancer in 2013 and has since undergone treatment procedures at least six times.
