Maharani 3 OTT Release Date: Fans are eagerly waiting for Huma Qureshi’s most popular web series Maharani 3. Recently Sony Liv announced the OTT release of the upcoming season of the political drama ‘Maharani’.

Not only this, the OTT platform had also released its trailer. In which Huma Qureshi was seen in a strong look. His look and dialogues are being praised everywhere.

‘Maharani’ is a Hindi-language drama streaming television series created by Subhash Kapoor in 2021. The first season was directed by director Karan Sharma, followed by season 2 under the direction of Ravindra Gautam.

Huma Qureshi is in the lead role in the web series, which includes actors like Sohum Shah, Amit Sial, Kani Kusruti and Inamulhaq.

The political drama takes inspiration from various events in Bihar during the 1990s, particularly the time when Lalu Prasad Yadav named his housewife wife Rabri Devi as his successor.

Season 1, spanning from 1995 to 1999, takes cues from real-life events and characters such as the Ranveer Sena, leftist militants, Naxalite groups, Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation, the 1997 Laxmanpur Bathe massacre.

In Season 2, the story takes place in the mid-1999 period and takes inspiration from real events and personalities. The story is based on incidents like Shilpi-Gautam murder, Sadhu Yadav, Rajiv Goswami, Shibu Soren, Mohammad Shahabuddin, Prashant Kishore, Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) and 2000 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections.
