I push myself to challenge myself at every step: Radhika Madan

Mumbai Actress Radhika Madan shared her experience of playing the role of Shanta in the show ‘Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo’ and how the character was different for her, yet similar to her in real life.

Talking about it, she said, “My character Shanta and I are completely different in our approach, but I think the only similarity between us is that we are both passionate and curious. Shanta is far more calm, confident, and calculative when it comes to her words, and being an actor, I seek change, that inspires me to challenge myself at every step.

I am learning, looking at things from the point of view of my characters and taking new lessons from each role and their journey. So, I think I lack the clarity like Shanta, because as an actor we need more change to explore new avenues and I am more energetic than that, but I loved playing Shanta And now when I think about it, I miss her.
