Mumbai | The makers of patriotic spy thriller ‘IB 71’ on Saturday released the teaser and National Award-winning director Sankalp Reddy revealed what attracted him towards the film. Sankalp Reddy shared: Working on IB 71 has been an exciting experience for me. From the outset, I was drawn to the film’s intriguing premise and the opportunity to explore the world of undercover operations.
With Vidyut Jammwal in the lead role, I knew I had an actor who not only had the physical ability to pull off high-octane action scenes, but also had the depth and nuance to bring his character to life. I can’t wait for the audience’s reaction.
The film marks the turning producer of Vidyut for the first time which takes the film to new heights.
At a prime location in Mumbai, surrounded by fans and media, Vidyut finally unveiled the first look of IB 71, putting all speculations to rest by revealing the details of the envelope, which read a top secret mission, leading to We had won the 1971 war.

‘IB 71’ is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Films and Reliance Entertainment. The Action Hero Films production stars Vidyut Jammwal, Anupam Kher and Vishal Jethwa in pivotal roles and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Action Hero Films and Reliance Entertainment.
The film is co-produced by Aditya Shastri, Aditya Choksi and Shiv Chanana, produced by Vidyut Jammwal and Abbas Sayyed. The film is set to release in theaters on 12 May.
