Nupur Sheoran (+81kg), on the other hand, defeated Guyana’s Abiola Jackman 5-0 in her round-of-16 bout. Chowdhary will now take on Kazakhstan’s Urakbayeva Jhajira in the next round, while Sheoran will face 2016 world champion Lajjat Kungibayeva of Kazakhstan in the quarterfinals.
