IIFA Rocks 2023: The two-day International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards has begun in Abu Dhabi. Many Bollywood celebrities graced the green carpet of IIFA Rocks. Videos are surfacing on social media, in which Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon were seen in very stylish looks.

,Gangubai Kathiawadi got three awards

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards began with a ceremony here, where Alia Bhatt starrer “Gangubai Kathiawadi” won three awards in the technical categories. Actor Rajkummar Rao and filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan hosted the ‘IIFA Rocks’ event. During this, winners of technical categories including cinematography, screenplay, dialogue and editing were announced.

“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” also won an award

Filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Utkarshini Vashisht won the best screenplay award for “Gangubai Kathiawadi”. The film was also awarded for cinematography and dialogues. Bosco Martis and Cesar Gonsalves won the award for Best Choreography for the title track of Kartik Aaryan starrer “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2”. The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, was also awarded the award for Best Sound Design.

Ajay Devgan’s film “Drishyam 2” got this award

Ajay Devgn’s “Drishyam 2” won the Best Editing award, while Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s “Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva” won the Best Special Effects (Visual) award. Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Vikram Vedha’ and Vasan Bala’s ‘Monica O My Darling’ bagged the Best Background Score and Best Sound Mixing awards, respectively. (with language input)
