Actually, this whole matter is of the year 2019, when Imran met the then USA President Donald Trump. During this, she wore a traditional salwar-kameez and matched her favorite Peshawari slippers with it.

A statement and a twist in the story

According to an INS report published in India Today, a statement was made regarding these clothes that the fabric was brought from a normal shop and then stitched by a local tailor. However, later a statement from a designer store added a twist to the tale.

Islamabad’s luxury clothing store ‘Mohtaram’ claimed to have made seven pairs of salwar-kameez for Imran Khan. These designer stores are considered up-scale. A salwar-kameez set here costs at least 16,000 Pakistani rupees.

and then came the second statement

However, after this another luxury store ‘LaFabbrica’ also made a similar claim. It was said on his behalf that he had prepared special jackets for Imran. However, how much of these claims were true and how much was false was never revealed, as both the stores did not give any official statement. But the uproar that was to be created by these statements, was definitely created.
