A temporary connection was established at the request of the Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association, but it only covers the spectators’ gallery and box. Today, during the match, a generator will be used to light the flood lights. Raipur Rural Division in-charge Ashok Khandelwal said that the Secretary Cricket Association has applied to increase the capacity of temporary electricity connection of the stadium. At present the capacity of temporary connection is 200 KV. The application to upgrade it to 1000 KV has been approved, but work on it has not started yet.

Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association worried about the match

Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association’s media coordinator Tarunesh Singh Parihar said that they are very worried about hosting international matches. He told that he does not have innings system for big matches. The match will be ended with the use of generator. Tarunesh Singh Parihar said, ‘As far as stadium lighting is concerned, I don’t know how much bill is outstanding, but a temporary connection has been taken in the name of CSCS.’ Due to which some matches are organized here and the stadium is maintained.
