Not just in the second innings of the third Test against India, Nathan Lyon troubled the Indian players with his bowling in the first innings. Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and Shrikar Bharat were dismissed for three wickets in the first innings. This is the reason that after winning the toss, the team that came out to bat first was all out after scoring only 109 runs.

Australia was reduced to 197 runs

The visitors went into bat after bowling India out for 109 earlier in the game. By the stumps of the first day, Australia’s team had scored 156 runs at the loss of 4 wickets.

However, on the second day of the game, Team India’s bowlers made a strong comeback and bundled out Australia’s entire innings for 197 runs before lunch. In this way Australia got an important lead of 88 runs on the basis of first innings.
