Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli is currently on leave due to personal reasons. However, his return to the team was expected before the last three Tests against England. But now the news is that Virat will not be a part of the team in the third and fourth test matches also. It is also doubtful whether he will play in the final Test match to be held in Dharamshala from March 7 to 11. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also has no update regarding his leave.

Regarding the return of Virat Kohli, BCCI said, there is no update on how long the star player is on leave and when he will return. BCCI said, it wants to clarify again that whenever it comes to family matters, the board always supports the cricketer and it will be Virat’s decision when he wants to make a comeback. At present, there is no possibility of him playing in the series against England.

Virat Kohli’s friend and former South African captain AB de Villiers had recently revealed on his YouTube channel that this legendary Indian batsman is going to become a father for the second time and hence he is not able to play against England.

India vs England fourth test will be played in Rajkot from 15 to 19 February

A five-match Test series is currently being played between India and England. England won the first test by 28 runs. Whereas India won the second test by a huge margin of 106 runs. Thus, at present the series is tied at 1-1. The third Test match between India and England will be played in Rajkot from 15 to 19 February while the fourth match will be played in Ranchi from 23 to 27 February. The fifth and last Test will be played in Dharamshala from March 7 to March 11.

Jasprit Bumrah may be given a break in Ranchi Test

Jasprit Bumrah is performing brilliantly in the series against England. He bowled 33 overs in the second test match and played an important role in India’s victory by taking nine wickets. The result of the third Test match can play an important role in the series and hence it will not be easy to rest Bumrah in the match to be held in Rajkot. However, he may be rested for the match to be held in Ranchi.

Rajat Patidar may have to sit out

KL Rahul is certain to return in the third match and in such a situation Rajat Patidar will have to sit out while Shreyas Iyer is sure to get another chance. Ravindra Jadeja is also recovering well from a hamstring strain but his chances of playing at his home ground in Rajkot are slim. Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj was rested in the second Test match under workload management and he will be included in the playing eleven in place of Mukesh Kumar in the third Test match.
