UPCA secretary admits fault for bad pitch
In fact, regarding the bad pitch of Ikana, UPCA Secretary Arvind Srivastava says that the pitch of Ikana Stadium was prepared only under the supervision of the curator of BCCI. He told that we had less time for the second match of the T20 series between India and New Zealand. He agreed that the pitch was not suitable for a T20 match. Srivastava said that, will ensure that in future the pitch is prepared for both the batsman and the bowler for the match.

India defeated New Zealand by six wickets in the second T20 to level the three-match series one-on-one. Batting first, New Zealand scored 99 runs losing eight wickets. For India, Arshdeep Singh took two wickets for just seven runs in his two overs. Chasing 100 runs, Suryakumar Yadav remained unbeaten after scoring 26 runs. India won the match by scoring 101 runs for four wickets in 19.5 overs.
