Jalebi is a traditional Indian sweet. Which is fried in oil and served after dipping in sugar syrup. It is very easy to make Crispy and Tasty Jalebi, for this you do not need to worry a lot. The occasion is for the celebration of independence, so this time make Jalebi at home like this.
Ingredients for this are – Maida half cup, gram flour 1 teaspoon, cardamom powder – half teaspoon, baking powder half teaspoon, fresh curd one cup, sugar 1 cup, raw milk 1 table spoon, edible yellow color 5-6 drops, saffron 5- 6 strands and ghee or refined oil for frying
After sifting flour and gram flour, add baking powder, cardamom powder, curd and a few drops of yellow edible color to it. Make a thick solution with the help of water. Whisk the mixture thoroughly. Then keep it covered for half an hour.
To make sugar syrup, add 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water and half a teaspoon of cardamom powder and boil it to make a syrup.
Put the whipped mixture in a plastic packet or cotton cloth, press it with your hands giving it the shape of a jalebi and filter it in hot oil. After baking well from both the sides, put the jalebi in the sugar syrup and leave it for a while.
Take out the jalebis from the syrup and keep them in a plate and let them cool down. Jalebis are ready! You can serve them hot.
If you want, you can garnish with some pistachios or almonds on top. Serve the jalebi hot. Take out the crispy raspberry jalebi from the sugar syrup and enjoy the delicious hot jalebi. You can eat it with rabri or cream.
