Rajkot. Till lunch on Friday, the second day of the third Test of five matches against England, Team India has scored 388 runs for 7 wickets. Debutants Dhruv Jurel and Ravichandran Ashwin are at the crease. Whereas, Ravindra Jadeja was out after scoring 112 runs.

India advanced its first innings on the second day with a score of 326/5. It was a bad start to the day for India. Team India lost 2 wickets in the first session of the second day, but the team’s score also reached close to 400 runs.

By the end of the session, Jurel returned unbeaten after scoring 31 runs and Ashwin after scoring 25 runs. England’s James Anderson and Joe Root took 1-1 wicket in this session. India scored 62 runs after batting 27 overs.

With the brilliant centuries of captain Rohit Sharma (131) and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja (112) and the brilliant half-century of 62 runs by Sarfaraz Khan in the debut match, India has strengthened its hold in the third Test against England.

Earlier, on the first day of the match on Thursday, till stumps, India had scored 326 runs for five wickets.
