Indian hockey team leaves for Australia tour

New Delhi . The Indian senior men’s hockey team left from Indira Gandhi International Airport on Monday night for the five-match hockey Test series against Australia.
The five-match Test series will begin on April 6, followed by matches on April 7, 10, 12 and 13, where fans will be treated to an exciting display of hockey talent.
The tour of Australia provides an important opportunity for the Indian team to assess its preparations, fine-tune its strategies and identify areas of improvement ahead of the Paris Olympics.
Given the tough competition, the team is ready to give its best and make every moment on the field memorable.
After showing their might last time during the Bhubaneswar and Rourkela leg of the FIH Pro League 2023-24, the Harmanpreet Singh-led side displayed exceptional skill and a brilliant performance. Also won three out of four matches in Bhubaneswar and maintained the unbeaten streak in Rourkela.
This demonstrated his strength on the international stage, raising high expectations for his performance in the upcoming series against Australia.
