BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said in a statement on Saturday, “Considering the overlap of the schedule of the Asian Games with the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, the BCCI will consider the selection of players not participating in the World Cup to play in the Asian Games.” Will choose for.
The decision was taken at the BCCI’s 19th Apex Council meeting here on Friday.
The BCCI also decided that it will frame a policy for its players (including retired players) regarding their participation in overseas T20 leagues.
