Indian women’s team is ready to face Australia in ODI series, this is the head to head record

The Indian women’s team will try to improve its record in the three-match One Day International cricket series against Australia starting on Thursday. The Indian team is currently in excellent form and has won two consecutive test matches. After defeating England by a record 347 runs, the Indian women’s team won the Test match against Australia by 8 wickets at the Wankhede Stadium. All the matches of the ODI series will be played at Wankhede Stadium. India is determined to continue its winning streak in the upcoming matches but the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team will be well aware that it will not be easy to defeat Australia, which has dominated the 50-over format from the beginning.

The first match of this series was played in Ahmedabad in which Australia won by 30 runs. But now India has a new captain in the form of Harmanpreet and a new coach in the form of Amol Majumdar.

This is an opportunity for the Indian team to start preparations for the ODI World Cup to be held in 2025 and improve its record against Australia. India has included new faces in its team in the form of Shreyanka Patil, Saika Isaac, Mannat Kashyap and Titas Sadhu for this series against Australia. For India, Jemimah Rodrigues has scored the maximum 129 runs in three ODI matches this year, while for Australia, left-handed opening batsman Beth Mooney has scored 387 runs in 11 matches with one century and two fifties.
