Indiana Jones actor Christian Oliver, 2 daughters die in plane crash

Los Angeles. Hollywood actor Christian Oliver, his two daughters and the pilot have died in a plane crash near a Caribbean island. His death has been confirmed by the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.

Oliver, whose real name is Christian Klepser, was 51. Their daughters, Madita Klepser and Annick Klepser, were 12 and 10 years old respectively. Pilot Robert Sachs also died in the crash, Variety reports.

He was the only passenger aboard the single-engine aircraft, which was owned and operated by Sachs. It crashed in Petit Nevis, a small island in the Grenadines, on Thursday afternoon.

According to Variety, the plane took off from JF Mitchell Airport in Bequia for St. Lucia at around 12:11 a.m. local time.

“Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft developed a problem and crashed into the sea,” the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force wrote in a statement.

When the plane fell into the sea, fishermen, divers and coast guards immediately reached the spot. The SVG Coast Guard was informed and immediately proceeded to Paget Farm, Bequia, to lead rescue efforts.

Variety further reports that the bodies of Oliver, his children, and Sachs were recovered by the Coast Guard and later pronounced dead by a medical officer.

He was taken to St Vincent’s Kingstown Mortuary, where a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Let us tell you that from 1990 to 2020, Oliver had dozens of credits in his name. He most recently appeared in last year’s “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” and played racecar driver Snake Oiler in “Speed ​​Racer.”

She also had roles in ‘Sense8’, ‘Inspector George Gently’, ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’ and ‘Saved by the Bell: The New Class’.
