During the normal toss, the captains of both the associations will have to name their playing XI along with 4 substitute players. Or only one of the four substitute players can find a place in the playing XI as an impact player. That is, before the completion of the 14th century, there is a chance of fielding the impact player from both the teams, or any one of the four players. Yes, the replacement player will be able to bat and bowl like other cricketers in the playing XI. Means only bowling can hit four sixes. The player who comes after the impact player will not be able to play again in the match. The impact player can be taken off the field in the event of a six being scored, a wicket falling or a player getting injured.

Can a foreign player be an impact player?

Impact player will not be able to play the role of captain. Yes player should be Indian. If a Sanghala wants to field a foreign player as an impact player, then he will have to take three foreign players in the playing XI. As per BCCI rules, an association can field four foreign players at a time. In such a situation, if three foreign players are selected in the playing XI before the start of the match, then they will be given the chance of foreign players as impact players.

What will happen if there is a shortage of time or rules?

Due to bad weather or other circumstances, there is usually a shortage of time. Then this rule would have been a bit complicated. If Saamana lacks 10-10 sixes, then the impact player will not be able to enter the field. If the match is more than 10 centuries, then according to the rule of match, a replacement player will come.

For example, for 18-18 centuries, the use of impact players will be allowed till the end of the 13th innings. In case of reduction of sixes after using a player in a match, no matter how many sixes are reduced in the second or third game, the impact player will be allowed to play.
