Vinesh Phogat accuses Yogeshwar Dutt of leaking investigation facts, demands action from Sports Minister

Vinesh Phogat Tweet: Golden girl against a member of the committee constituted to investigate the matter of sexual harassment of women wrestlers of the country on the President of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh Vinesh Phogat Has made serious allegations. On Sunday night, Vinesh made a tweet without naming the committee member, accusing them of leaking the facts of the sexual harassment complaint to the media. After which the matter has again started catching fire. Vinesh Phogat has demanded Sports Minister Anurag Thakur to take action against that member.
Demand for action from Sports Minister
Tagging Sports Minister Anurag Thakur in her tweet, Vinesh Phogat wrote, ‘I have recently come to know that a person from the Over Sight Committee is allegedly leaking the facts of the complaint of sexual harassment. I came to know about this after reading media reports. As a sportsperson, it is extremely disheartening to see that a fellow sportsperson member of the over site committee has been so negligent. I want that this member should be removed from the committees immediately. Along with this, Vinesh said that these members are part of both the committees formed by the IOA and the Sports Ministry.

Immediate action should be taken against the accused member
Vinesh further wrote, ‘It should be taken seriously that this sportsperson is a part of both the committees which are probing the allegations of sexual harassment leveled against the WFI official. If this person continues to leak information like this, it will undermine trust in the work of the committee. I am not only feeling vulnerable at this point of time, but also feel that there is a conspiracy by this player to influence a transparent investigation. I appeal that in this matter strict steps should be taken against the person who is misusing his position and he should be immediately thrown out of the committee.
The former president of the federation is getting the support of the accused member
Vinesh Phogat further wrote that, ‘The concern is not limited to the proceedings of this investigation only, because I am sure that the former Speaker is getting the support of this member. This member has been working against the interests of women since day one. The lack of empathy and insensitivity displayed by this player during the proceedings of the committee was shocking. I request that the matter be investigated and all necessary action be taken immediately.
