Navjyot Singh Sidhu played international cricket for India between 1983 and 1999. He played as a salute hero for India. During this period he played 51 Tests and 136 ODIs. In 78 Test innings, he scored 3202 runs at an average of 42.13, which included 9 centuries and 15 half-centuries. Apart from this, in 127 ODI innings, Sidhu scored 4413 innings at an average of 37.08, in which he scored 6 centuries and 33 half-centuries.
