Tehran. An unidentified assailant entered the home of renowned Iranian film director Dariush Mehrjui and allegedly stabbed him and his wife to death. Government media gave this information on Sunday. State news agency Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted judicial official Hussein Faizeli as saying that Dariush Mehrjui and his wife Wahideh Mohammadifar were found dead in their home with marks of knife attack on their necks.
