In the clip, Tsahi Halevi is seen singing the soulful song ‘Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana Sanam’ from the film DDLJ. Fans flooded the show with comments and expressed their opinions in the comments section. One user wrote, “This is fantastic! ‘Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana Sanam’ is a 1995 film starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. Both are seen romancing in the mustard fields while singing a song in the superhit romantic drama ‘Dilwale Dukhaniya Le Jayenge’. This is not the first time Tsahi Halevi has shown his love for Hindi music. During the promotions of his Bollywood debut with Nushrat Bharucha starrer ‘Akeli’, the actor-singer tried his hand at a chartbuster.
In 2022, Halevi visited New Delhi on the occasion of Israel’s 74th Independence Day and surprised everyone by singing Kishore Kumar’s song ‘Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahaan’ at the event. Halevi’s Netflix show ‘Fauda’, which was released in 2015, depicts the two-sided story of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The show was successful in India.
