Janhvi Kapoor replaces Alia Bhatt in Varun Dhawan starrer Dulhania 3, new report comes about the film

After the massive success of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions have reportedly reunited for the upcoming installment of the Dulhania series. However, the ongoing reports do not mention the film’s heroine, who was played by Alia Bhatt in both the films. Now, according to a new report from PeepingMoon.com, Janhvi Kapoor will be replacing Alia in the upcoming installment. Janhvi and Varun have previously worked together for a romantic drama, Bawal. Actually, the above report came out when Karan Johar revealed in Koffee with Karan 8 that Janhvi has a big project but both of them did not talk much about it.
However, the project will again be directed by Shashank Khaitan, who directed the previous two films. The report states that the story and characters of Dulhania 3 will be different and has nothing to do with the previous parts. “The pre-production of the film has begun and shooting will begin in the next few months,” the report said.
Other projects of Varun, Janhvi
Varun is expected to shoot this Dharma Productions venture after finishing Atlee’s Theri remake. The report further adds, “She has to shoot for her father David Dhawan’s comedy film Dulhania 3, which is scheduled to go on floors in April.”
The 36-year-old actor will also be seen in the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood series Citadel alongside actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Apart from these, Varun also recently appeared on the latest season of celebrity talk show Koffee with Karan with his Student of the Year co-star Sidharth Malhotra. At the same time, apart from Dulhania 3, Janhvi has two big projects in her hands, one with Siddharth Malhotra and the other with Tiger Shroff.
