Criticism of Vijay’s slippers

Recently, Vijay Deverakonda was criticized on the internet for wearing slippers at a trailer launch event in Mumbai. As per a report in ETimes, Vijay has said that wearing slippers makes his life easier as he does not have to look for shoes to match with his outfit. He said, ‘I know it’s a blockbuster (liger) with slippers and cross legs… I wear all kinds of things. I wear whatever the mood strikes me. Look, I have 30 days to promote the film and then every day I have to find shoes and clothes and it will always take less time. So I bought a nice pair of slippers and it’s making my life easier…so, I just do what I love.’
