Hollywood film John Wick: Chapter 4, which released last Friday, has opened to a great start in India. The film has managed to collect Rs 26.50 crore in its first weekend. The biggest reason for this was that no big Hindi film was released in front of this film. Rajkummar Rao’s Anubhav Sinha directorial opened to crowds but failed to attract the audience. Although the crowd had looted tremendous applause from the critics. John Wick’s 26.50 cr business also includes Thursday’s paid-previews collections. In its first weekend, Rush managed to collect just 1.50 crores. Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar’s film, which tells the painful story of the exodus of workers during the lockdown, collected only Rs 50 lakh on Sunday.

Keanu Reeves’ John Wick: Chapter 4 has set a new record. Usually the business of the film increases on Saturday and Sunday but this film did a net business of 9-9 crores on both Saturday and Sunday. No increase in its business on Sunday has been surprising. In such a situation, the future of the film now hinges on Monday. This high-octane action film has received a great response from multiplex audiences across major cities of the country. The film earned Rs 2.50 crore from paid previews on Thursday.

The fourth film has definitely managed to connect with the audience, due to which it has done a business of more than 26 crores in 3 days, indicating that this film can touch the lifetime figure of 50 crores in India. However, its possibility seems to be negligible as two big films Bhola and Dasara are going to be released in India on coming Friday. There is a tremendous craze in the audience regarding both these films, due to which it is being estimated that both these films will be successful in doing business of more than 40 crores at the box office on the first day. The second is a pan India release which is being released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam as well as Hindi. Actor Nani, who is playing the lead role in the film, is busy promoting in North India.
