Late actor Satish Kaushik’s last film ‘Kaagaj 2’ will be released on March 1, 2024. The makers released its trailer on Friday. The film revolves around a common man’s fight for the right to life, right to free movement and right to personal liberty. Satish Kaushik’s friend and veteran actor Anupam Kher also plays an important role in the film.

The trailer of ‘Kaagaz 2’ was released on 9 February. The first installment of the film featured Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role. It is being told that ‘Kaagaz 2’ is based on real life events and it stars Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Darshan Kumar, Neena Gupta and Smriti Kalra in important roles. For those unaware, Satish Kaushik was also a part of the first installment in the role of lawyer Sadhoram Kewat.

Directed by VK Prakash and produced by Shashi Satish Kaushik, Ratan Jain and Ganesh Jain, the film is a joint production of Satish Kaushik Entertainment LLP and Venus Worldwide Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

Ratan Jain, producer, Venus Films, said, “My association with Satish ji goes back a long way. He directed a film for my company and we produced many films together. ‘Kaagaz 2’ holds a special place in his heart. Keeps. This is a tribute to my dear friend.”

He further added, “The unique selling point of the film lies in the message: ‘Don’t block the way of others to make your way. Political rallies and protests often cause traffic jams, causing inconvenience to the common people.’

This film will be released in theaters on March 1.
