He was supposed to participate in his first international match in Surrey, Canada on June 26 and had a flight on June 20, but just before that he was attacked on June 15 and now he might never be able to play Kabaddi again.
FIR against five under attempt to murder
According to the FIR lodged at the Jodhan police station, Dalveer was returning to his village along with his friend Gurpreet Singh on the night of June 15 when a group of his rivals rammed their Tata Indica Vista vehicle into his bike from behind to kill him. Killed. After this the bike fell into the drain and Dalveer’s head hit the concrete wall and iron angle and his legs were also crushed. Police have booked Kulwinder Singh, Harwinder Singh, Manish Bagar and two unidentified persons under IPC section 307 (attempt to murder) and other sections.
