Kajol and Kriti Sanon will be seen together in Netflix mystery thriller Do Patti

Mumbai Bollywood stars Kajol and Kriti Sanon will be seen playing the lead roles in streaming giant Netflix India’s mystery thriller original film ‘Do Patti’.

“The opportunity to get on streaming has been really exciting as it allows us to venture into uncharted territories and present captivating stories to audiences around the world,” Kajol said.

Kajol said that the script of ‘Do Patti’ is excellent which promises a unique mix of thrill and suspense.

He further added, “This is a story that is not only rooted in India, but also promises thrills that can be enjoyed by entertainment enthusiasts across borders.”

As reported by Variety, this marks the production debut of Kriti and writer Kanika Dhillon.

Kriti says that ‘Do Patti’ holds a very special place in her heart as it marks her first film as a producer with her production house Blue Butterfly Films.

She further added, “I love every aspect of filmmaking and have always wanted to be more creatively involved in stories that touch my heart. I am delighted to collaborate with the extremely talented Kanika Dhillon as a producer. So excited and we couldn’t have asked for a better partner than Netflix for this magical journey.”

Dhillon said being a part of ‘Do Patti’ as a writer-producer has been an incredibly gratifying experience for him and he is happy to finally share the project with the world.

Dhillon said, “Stepping into the role of producer has given me the opportunity to explore a new dimension of storytelling and bring my creative vision to life. It has been a pleasure collaborating with the phenomenal Kajol and Kriti.”

The film is based in the hills of northern India.
