Kamal Haasan will be seen as a villain in Project K, after 35 years with Amitabh Bachchan

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is riding on the success of his previous film Vikram, which hit the box office in 2022. We had earlier told readers that Kamal Haasan is in talks with the crew members to play the villain in director Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi film Project K. Now it is being told that he has given his dates to the project. Prabhas will be seen pairing with Deepika Padukone in Nag Ashwin’s film. Along with this, Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen playing an important role. Amitabh and Kamal Haasan will be seen sharing screen space together after almost 35 years. He was last seen in Arrest, in which Rajinikanth was also with him.

Kamal Haasan has been shooting for director Shankar’s Indian 2 for the past few months. Now, Kamal Haasan is all set to focus on his next big budget film. Kamal Haasan will be seen as the villain in the project, it is official. He has allotted around 20 days in August to shoot his portions in the film. The makers are yet to officially announce the big casting coup. It is being told that Kamal Haasan has taken a remuneration of Rs 150 crore from the makers for playing this character. However, no official confirmation has been made on this yet.

Director Nag Ashwin’s project is one of the costliest films in the Indian film industry. It is being told that about 600 crores is at stake on this. The sci-fi film stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani in lead roles. And now with Kamal Haasan, the cast just got bigger and better. The film is all set to release in theaters on 12 January 2024. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film is being made on a budget of Rs 600 crore. The film will be screened in two parts. The music is by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer by Djordje Stoziljkovic and editor by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
