Kamya, who has done several TV shows, reality shows like ‘Bigg Boss 7’ and films like ‘Kaho Na.. Pyaar Hai’, ‘Koi.. Mil Gaya’ and others, further elaborated on playing the role of an antagonist. , how in the show she is trying to make Daayan different from the way she was shown earlier.
I didn’t take inspiration from other characters because I don’t want to copy someone else, but I approached the character with a fresh perspective and creativity. I believe in pushing boundaries and every day I am working towards portraying Mantralekha differently.
Lastly, she concluded, “I am excited to give a glamorous twist to this traditionally feared character and redefine witches on screen.” It’s time to witness a never seen before era of witches exclusively created by Kamya Punjabi.
