Kangana posted a picture of the shooting moment and wrote, “Today in Chennai we started shooting for our new film, a psychological thriller. Will bring the remaining details soon. Currently, this very unusual and exciting script needs your support and blessings.

Kangana has also shared a picture of the auspicious shot on her Instagram stories and sought blessings from everyone. Along with this he wrote, “We need all your love and blessings for our new journey starting today, along with many of my favourites.” Kangana also revealed that she is doing a new film with director AL Vijay. She also shared her picture with the director. Along with this, while sharing his old picture with R Madhavan, he wrote, he is back. Earlier, Kangana and Madhavan were seen in Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

Now Kangana will be seen in the political drama film Emergency. Kangana has played the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in this film. Apart from Kangana, many powerful stars like Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary and Shreyas Talpade have acted in Emergency. This film was earlier scheduled to be released this year but later its release was postponed. Now Emergency will be released in theaters next year i.e. 2024.
