Mumbai: Actress Kangana Ranaut, who attended the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya, raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram, expressing happiness over the completion of the ceremony. On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the pledge within the 84-second Abhijit Muhurta as part of the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. Kangana, who attended the auspicious function, shared her pictures wearing a white heavily embroidered saree with red border and matching blouse. She completed the outfit with a red shawl.
The Queen fame actress tied her hair in a ponytail and chose green accessories. She was looking beautiful in bindi and neutral makeup. The consecration ceremony was completed amid blowing of conch shells and showering of flowers on the temple by helicopter. In the video, Kangana is seen happily raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram. He captioned it: ‘Ram has arrived’.
Earlier in the day, he shared pictures from Ayodhya and wrote, ‘This is the birthplace of Param Pujya Shri Ram… Jai Shri Ram’.
Talking about the work front, Kangana played the lead role in the action thriller Tejas. Her next film is Emergency, a biographical historical drama directed and produced by Kangana. Kangana played the role of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi in this film based on the Indian Emergency. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhary and Milind Soman in lead roles. He also has a psychological thriller in the pipeline.
