Karan Patel called Bigg Boss the dirtiest show on TV? Yeh Hai Mohabbatein star clarifies after trolling

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein star Karan Patel has recently come into limelight after his statement on Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss went viral. Although, he has never been a part of the reality show but in a recent interview he criticized its makers for taking influencers as contestants. Karan Patel’s statement went viral, he said in his statement that “It has become such a dirty, insulting show that it cannot be associated with it.”

After this the actor was trolled fiercely on social media. Now, Karan took to his Instagram handle and clarified his statement on Bigg Boss. Under the Stories section, he shared a long note which read, “Finally to end all the unnecessary reactions on a statement I haven’t even made before.” When I was asked about Bigg Boss, I said that the show has become much more lenient over the years and there is no limit to how low one can go to assassinate someone’s character.

Salman Bhai has always requested the contestants to mind their own words as it is a family show, and sometimes the episodes get so dirty that it becomes embarrassingly awkward to watch it with family members, and It was in this context that I meant ‘dirty’. And not in any way with the channel, broadcaster or host. I have great respect for all of them.”

They said, “Having said all that, I still stand by my words of having zero tolerance for character assassination by anyone on any show. He said, “Media should continue to be a medium and not a source of news.”
