The film released on Thursday and earned around Rs 9.25 crore. On the second day i.e. first Friday, the box office collection of Satyaprem Ki Katha was around Rs 7 crore. Now, the total collection of the film by the end of the first weekend is close to Rs 39 crore. If the film manages to clear Monday’s litmus test, we won’t be surprised if Satyaprem Ki Katha easily crosses the Rs 50 crore mark. The story of Satyaprem has easily registered its name in the category of ‘hit films’ of Bollywood.
