Karthik Aryan’s ‘Shahzada’ is a double dose of entertainment, if you want to end the tension then come to the theaters to get vaccinated

Shehzada Movie Review: After dabbling in romance and comedy, Bollywood superstar Kartik Aaryan showcases his expertise in the action genre with his latest release ‘Shehzada’. This film is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu superhit action drama ‘Ala Vaikunthapremulo’ in the year 2020. Though he plays his cards right in a film packed with high-octane action, witty one-liners and a touch of comedy in the dialogues, the story fails to grip strongly. The first half of the film drags but in the second half the story picks up pace.

As the trailer of the film ‘Shehzada’ indicated, Shehzada is packed with action, drama and romance. It can totally be called a family entertainer. Since it is directed by David Dhawan’s son Rohit Dhawan, it is clear that the film is inclined towards comedy and drama. It is completely on the lines of a ‘Dhawan’ film. Karthik Aryan and Kriti Sanon are once again seen together as the lead couple. Their offscreen chemistry and friendship translates beautifully on screen. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, Sunny Hinduja, Ankur Rathi and Sachin Khedekar. Rajpal Yadav and Rakesh Bedi also make special appearances.

Karthik Aryan aka Bantu’s luck took a turn as soon as he came into this world. While he was born as a prince, he was brought up in a very simple household and his right to be a prince was passed on to someone else. It was all a game played by Bantu’s fake father Valmiki (Paresh Rawal). What does Bantu do when he learns that his real family is the Jindal family? Under what circumstances does he meet his parents (Ronit Roy and Manisha Koirala)? Why does Valmiki keep Bantu away from his family? This creates the craze of the Bollywood movie Shehzada.

Karthik Aryan rocked from the first scene to the last scene. The actor is showing improvement in his performance with every new film. He didn’t give a long speech in Shehzada like he did in Pyaar Ka Punchnama. Karthik’s long speech speaking is his USP. They managed to keep interest in every scene. Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, justified her role as a lawyer but she didn’t have much to do. However Paresh Rawal excels in his role as expected. His effortless acting and comic timing is worth watching again and again. Ronit Roy and Manisha Koirala did their part well. Sachin Khedekar is endearing as the patriarch of the Jindal family while Sunny Hinduja has his moments as a batman. Special appearances are made by Rajpal Yadav and Rakesh Bedi and their scenes are fun.

What is special about Shehzada?

Shehzada leaves no stone unturned to entertain the audience. Along with the comedy, there is also a family connection which is being loved by the audience. Keeping in mind the Hindi audience and today’s youth, Rohit Dhawan has made relevant changes to the superhit Telugu film. However, the film about Kartik Aaryan and the lead lady Kriti Sanon comes to an abrupt end in the second half which is disappointing. Also, since Shehzada is the Hindi remake of the Telugu film ‘Ala Vaikunthapremulo’, many people have already seen it. In such a situation, there is every possibility that the box office collection of Shehzada will be affected. Allu Arjun’s Telugu film is also available in Hindi dubbed version on YouTube.
