Pune: Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav is going through the worst phase of his life. His elderly father Mahadev Jadhav has gone missing from Pune in Maharashtra. Mahadev Jadhav has reportedly been missing from Pune’s Kothrod area since 11:30 am on March 27. About 75-year-old Mahadev Jadhav took a rickshaw around 11.30 am, since then he is not traceable. The police have registered a missing case on the report of the family. Kedar Jadhav has also shared the story on the social networking site Instagram, in which he has also shared an address number. This report containing Mahadev’s photograph was circulated to other police stations in Pune to search for him. According to the missing report, Mahadev Jadhav is 5 feet 6 inches tall, has a surgical scar on the left side of his face, and was wearing a white shirt. He was wearing gray trousers, black chappals, stockings and spectacles. It is said that he speaks Marathi. There are two gold rings in the fingers of his right hand. He did not have any mobile phone, while in some reports his phone is being told to be switched off.
A team led by senior police inspector Rajendra Sahane of Alankar police station has started searching for the missing person. The officer appealed that anyone having information about Mahadev Jadhav should contact the Pune city police.
