Chennai. Hosts Tamil Nadu and Delhi won two gold medals each while Punjab, Gujarat, Chandigarh and Manipur won one gold medal each on the second day of the Khelo India Youth Games here on Sunday. Tamil Nadu’s Navya won the first gold medal of the day in girls’ traditional yoga. Swordsman Arlin AV won the second gold medal from Tamil Nadu. With this, Tamil Nadu remains at the top of the table with four gold medals and two bronze medals.

Delhi won two of the five gold medals at stake in Judo, taking it to second place in the medal tally after Tamil Nadu. Delhi’s Tannu Mann won gold medals in the girls’ 48 kg weight category while Anurag Sagar won the boys’ 55 kg weight category. In Judo itself, Ankita of Gujarat won gold medals in girls’ 55 kg, Sapna from Chandigarh won girls’ 40 kg and Shivansh Vashistha of Punjab won gold medals in boys’ 50 kg weight category. In Kabaddi, the boys’ final will be played between defending champions Haryana and Rajasthan.
