Article 370: Bollywood actress Yami Gautam starrer, the film Article 370, was released in theaters on 23 February. The film received a lot of love from the audience as well as the critics. According to Sacnilk.com, the film has grossed over Rs 26 crore in India since its release. The political-action drama is directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale.

Article 370 earned so many crores at the box office
The film did a business of Rs 5.9 crore on the first day of its release. It earned Rs 7.4 crore on the second day and Rs 9.6 crore on the third day. According to initial estimates, Article 370 earned Rs 3.25 crore in India on its fourth day (First Monday). The film has so far collected Rs 26.15 crore in India. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar.

About Article 370
Yami Gautam has played the role of intelligence officer Juni Haksar. Set entirely against the beautiful backdrop of Jammu and Kashmir, the film is based on the historic abrogation of Article 370, which guaranteed special constitutional privileges to the erstwhile state. The film’s trailer depicts the emergence of terrorism in the region, with radicals trying to take over the area.

Yami is out on a mission
Yami’s character has joined the NIA and has been given free rein to carry out a mission in Kashmir. The government has also promised to abolish Article 370. Apart from Yami, Priyamani, Arun Govil and Kiran Karmarkar are also in lead roles in the film. Article 370 is backed by Jio Studios and Aditya Dhar’s banner B62 Studios. The play is “inspired by true events that shaped the destiny of Kashmir”.

Yami said this on the success of Article 370
Yami told news agency ANI on Monday, “We were confident that the film would strike the right chord and the audience would like it. We knew that once an audience watches the film, his views and opinions on the matter will change. A common theme among the congratulatory messages I have been receiving since our film hit the theaters is that the youth should watch it because there is no promotion in it.”

Article 370 stars Yami Gautam and Priya Mani in lead roles, along with Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatvavadi, Skand Thakur and Ashwini Kaul in lead roles. Article 370 vs crack
Yami’s film Crack was released with Article 370. Krack revolves around Siddhu, a slum dweller who participates in an underground survival game competition to find out the truth behind his missing brother. The film stars Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal in lead roles, while Nora Fatehi and Amy Jackson also play important roles. The contrasting performance of Article 370 and Crack at the box office reflects the diverse tastes of the audience. While Article 370 has impressed the audience, Crack is yet to gain popularity. Both films offer unique narratives and star-studded casts, making them interesting choices for movie lovers looking for different cinematic experiences.
