Kumkum Bhagya actors Abhishek Malik and Suhani Chaudhary have separated, confirmed the news of divorce.

Speaking on separation with Abhishek, Suhani said, We took the step without anticipating that we might be incompatible, something we realized after we started living together. However, there are no complaints or regrets. We realized that both of us should move forward in our lives. Separation is probably the right decision for both of us. I wish Abhishek a bright future.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Abhishek revealed how he and Suhani decided to get married in 2021. The actor said: “We really tried to sort it out, but there were some real compatibility issues and we had to make a decision. When we got engaged in January 2021, we had less time to spend with and understand each other. Soon after, we got married (in October 2021). After that, I got a little busy buying a new house. So we didn’t really get time to connect.

They said The connection was missing. We tried to sort it out, we were together in Mumbai for 2 years but eventually, we understood that we should not drag it out too much as we had our whole lives ahead of us and that’s when we decided to separate with mutual consent. We have parted ways amicably. “I don’t want anything bad for her,” he said.
